All the trips of Sunhillcycling are covered by the STO travel guarantee. For you as a traveller it means that if anything should happen, you don't have to worry. If the trip suddenly cannot continue or is broken down, you will get your money back. If by any chance, I cannot fulfill my obligations, you will be able to return home without any problems for sure.

      1. Responsibilities

It's your responsibility to provide information we need to make and carry out a correct reservation. This concerns, for example, providing your correct name, address, place of residence, date of birth, nationality and, if available, the number of the mobile phone and E-mail address.

Besides, it's your responsibility to be in possession of a valid travel document before you go on trip. Also, please, make sure that you are insured for costs in case of illness and/or accident or calamities during the trip (by means of health insurance and /or travel insurance).

When you book a trip with us, we will send you a confirmation within 2 working days. After you received the confirmation, you can contact us if you find any mistakes in the confirmation within two days, so that we can correct them.

      1. Reservation Order

The client is understood to mean the person who makes a booking at Sunhillcycling under his/her name.

Before making an agreement and carrying it out, you have to provide to us the needed data concerning yourself and (possible) other traveller(s).

Possible cancellations of, or changes to the provided booking(s) can only take place on working days and only at the request of the client. If at the request of the client a cancellation takes place or changes are made to the reservations already made, the costs involved will be charged. In addition to the cancellation- and change costs the service provider will charge, there are also the costs that we must incur to effect the cancellation or change.

All the announcements of Sunhillcycling will be directed to the client only.

      1. Terms of Payment

When booking your trip at Sunhillcycling, we kindly ask you to make a deposit of 20 % of the total amount. This deposit is due within 14 days after we have sent the confirmation or invoice. You are paying to Third Party Funds Certo Escrow Foundation. Read more at article 5. Guarantee Arrangement.

The rest of the total amount is due 6 weeks before the trip date at the latest to be received by us. In case of any discrepancies between confirmation and invoice, the confirmation applies.

If you are booking your trip within 6 weeks before your holiday begins, then you have to pay the total amount in one payment within 3 days after receiving the confirmation, but at the latest 7 days before the first day of your trip.

If the (down) payment is not made and/or not made on time, you will be in default and the agreements will be regarded as cancelled. In that case, the specifics determined in article 4. (Terms of Cancellation) will be applied in full.As far as in that situation there would be a right to a refund of a part of the total amount, this refund will be made exclusively to the client.

      1. Terms of Cancellation

If you cancel the reservation, the following charges will be scaled:

  • up to 6 weeks before departure – 40 % of the total amount;
  • up to 3 weeks before departure – 50 % of the total amount;
  • up to one week before departure – 75 % of the total amount;
  • from one week before departure – the total amount.

You can insure yourself for the consequences of a cancellation through a cancellation insurance.

      1. Guarantee Arrangement

A guarantee in place: STO Garant

In order to meet its statutory obligation to provide a guarantee, Sunhill Cycling uses STO Garant, a guarantee scheme recognised by the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM). STO Garant's guarantee applies to a particular (travel) offer made by Sunhill Cycling is specified for that offer. The Guarantee Scheme specifies what the guarantee covers and which conditions apply. You can find the Guarantee Scheme on STO Garant's website (

How it works

If STO Garant's guarantee applies to your booking, you do not pay the booking amount to Sunhill Cycling but instead into the escrow account belonging to Stichting Derdengelden Certo Escrow, a payment services provider registered with De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) and the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM). This trust account holds your payment in reserve until the trip booked has come to an end. The booking amount is then released to Sunhill Cycling on the day after your trip ends. If Sunhill Cycling should become financially insolvent before the end of your trip, STO Garant will implement the guarantee. The Guarantee Scheme details how you can make a claim under the guarantee in such cases.

      1. Liability

We are doing everything we can to provide you a successful trip and to make your cycling holiday great. In case of complaints and/or shortcomings we will immediately do everything to fix them for you.

If damage occurs unexpectedly, the following rules will apply.

The liability for acts and/or negligence of the service providers engaged by us or any resulting compensation obligation is limited to a maximum of three times the travel sum for Sunhillcycling.

As far as that Sunhillcycling itself falls short accountably, and as a result, you suffer damage, (including damage due to lost trip pleasure), our liability is limited to a maximum of 25% of the invoiced travel sum or to the amount that is covered and paid out by Sunhillcycling insurance. The limitation of liability does not apply in case of intent and/or reckless behavior by Sunhillcycling.

Lastly, Sunhillcycling is not liable for arriving at the destination in time or not (and for example missing connections). You have to take care of it yourself.

      1. Documents

For your cycling trip in Andalucia you need to have a valid travel document (for example, a passport).

If you cannot continue (or complete) your trip because of the absence of any (valid) travel document, the costs for all associated consequences will be for your own account.

You are responsible yourself for having all the needed documents such as a passport that meets all validity requirements, or, where permitted, an identity card, driver's license and green card.

Sunhillcycling recommends you to check all your existing insurances and, should they not be able to cover your trip sufficiently, you should arrange cancellation insurance and travel insurance.

      1. Complaints

At the start of your journey, our guide will introduce himself to you on the day of arrival and leave his contact details with you so that you can reach him during your stay.

If you suddenly have any complaints during your stay, please, make this known to the hotel manager of the hotel you are staying at. He is on the spot and can provide the fastest solution. If you cannot reach him, get in touch with us, so we can agree on a solution with you.

Complaints about a reservation made by Sunhillcycling, resp. about advice and information provided by us, can be submitted to us up to one month after the end of your trip or, if the trip has not been completed, up to one month after the original departure date mentioned in the travel documents.

Sunhillcycling is registered at the Chamber of Commerce for Brabant under the number 17188846. To these booking conditions Dutch law applies. In case of disagreements arising from and/or concerning the travel agreement, the Dutch court within the Den Bosch district will have exclusive jurisdiction to judge.
